Are you eligible to receive social care support? Are you eligible to have some or all of your social care support paid for?   If so, you could arrange the care services yourself, through Direct Payments.

A direct payment is when your personal budget is paid directly to you to buy your own care and support in line with your assessed needs.

It allows you to have more choice and control over your life by enabling you to make decisions about how your care is delivered.

If you eligble for a direct payment, a prepaid card can be loaded with your payment for your care services.

You can use it to purchase the goods and services to meet your assessed social care needs as set out in your care plan or support plan.
