Early Years SEND Inclusion Fund

Funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds with special educational needs who are accessing their free entitlement.  The funding is to support children's learning and development.  More information on the SEND Inclusion Fund and frequently asked questions

Disability Access Funding (DAF) - Early Years funding to support children with disabilities

What is the Disability Access Fund?

Children aged 3 and 4 years old, who are 

  • in receipt of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and
  • accessing universal 15 hours of funded child per week

could be eligible to apply for additional funding through the Disability Access Fund.

Childcare providers could get access to a one off payment of £800 per calendar year (up from £615) for each eligible child that could aid in making reasonable adjustments at the setting and improve accessibility.
