Childcare from 20th July

Due to the relaxing of restrictions by government, childcare settings can welcome back more children from 20th July, this also includes holiday playschemes and out of school clubs also being allowed to re-open whether on a school site or not.

Special educational needs and disability

On this page families can find specialist information to aid with supporting children with special educational needs and/ or disabilities. Many details provided are for national organisations that offer specialist information, advice and guidance.

The information also includes details on more local family support such as Parent Partnership, the Local Offer and specialist schools and childcare providers. To search for local information simply add in your postcode or town and use the filters on the left side to search for your requirements.

We also ask childcare providers to share information on specialist care and requirements that they cater for. This can be found in the Inclusion section of a childcare providers' information when you look for childcare.
