Carer's Support
Carers Assessments are carried out by Staffordshire County Council. This allows Carers to have a key point of contact and provide a clear and easily accessible framework for information, advice and guidance and also assessments.

N-Compass lead the delivery of preventative support for carers of all ages, including young carers. The service is called ‘Staffordshire Together for Carers Service’ and will continue to offer emotional and practical support, befriending, peer support, training and skills development for Carers of all ages, as well as a Carers 24/7 chatline.
What support is there for young carers?
Young Carers provide unpaid assistance and support to another person, usually a family member, who requires physical and/or emotional support on a regular or significant basis.
There are over 2,000 people aged under 18 years of age who are 'young carers'
