Where can I find Aiming High Activities?

Aiming High provide a variety of activities for young people up to 18 years old with a special educational need and disability.  They also provide support to help you to access activities independently.

These activities can be found in the blue "Aiming High" directory below

Who can help me find accessible activities, clubs and groups?

Together Active (formerly known as Sports Across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent) have lots of useful information about sports and staying active. They can signpost to local sporting opportunities and work with local sports clubs to make their activities more inclusive.  They also support the development of sports projects and programmes.

Staffordshire Council for Voluntary Youth Services can advise on the current range of voluntary organisations that are in their membership.

Well Active is a website which shows you, your carers and family, activities which are available in and around the districts of Cannock Chase, Lichfield and Tamworth.  Using film, photographs and animations, it visually explains what you can do and where and inspires everyone to live an active and healthier lifestyle.

Accessible Countryside for Everyone  provides information about accessibility to the countryside and the green spaces of Staffordshire plus details of disabled sport, support, carers and family organisations in the county.

Liberty believe that young people and adults aged 11+ who are vulnerable because of their disabilities or learning barriers should have access to facilities and provisions to support their inclusion within their community, and their transition into adulthood and independence.  The services Liberty offer are person centred, resulting in programmes and provisions which offer meaningful choices and support identified needs.

Where can I find a Changing Places Toilet?

Search the Changing Places directory to find a changing places toilet,  These have more space and the right equipment, including a height adjustable changing bench and a hoist.
