Carer groups are an excellent opportunity for you to meet carers in similar situations, make new friends, join in with fun and games, have meals out together, listen to guest speakers and learn more about coping with your caring role.
We provide informal practical help and support to the residents of Whittington and Fisherwick Parish (mostly transport, befriending, odd jobs and shopping). This includes a programme of events to reduce social isolation. Beneficiaries mostly frail elderly.
Whittington Village Hall is the social heart of the village being an excellent venue for a wide variety of social, community and recreational gatherings and activities. It is fully accessible for less able users and welcomes assistance dogs in all areas.
