Hearing, visual and deafblind (Sensory Team) - Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust
The team consists of Rehabilitation Officer Visual Impairment (ROVI) posts and Rehabilitation Officer Hearing Impairment (ROHI) posts.
They provide advice, support and guidance to individuals who have sensory needs and/or are registered deaf, blind, or deafblind.
They work to promote independence by offering social work support, training and assisting service users with accessing appropriate equipment.
There is also a small number of Level 3 OCN trained deafblind assessors, qualified to undertake Care Act compliant assessments for people with dual sensory needs.
