North Staffs LinkLine
North Staffs LinkLine is a local free telephone befriending and support service for those aged 55, who live in the Borough of Newcastle Under Lyme, and may be feeling lonely or isolated.
Telephone befriending can improve wellbeing and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. By having someone to talk to and sharing how you are feeling, you can build a lasting and meaningful relationship with your befriender.
We operate each weekday morning from 9:30am-12:30pm. Our fantastic group of volunteers will call you for a chat at least once a week, sometimes more often depending on the need. They will also offer support by providing information about, and liaising with other services and social groups that may be useful.
