Dealing with diabetes can be daunting, whether you're newly diagnosed, an old hand, or even if it's someone you know who has the condition. Having someone to talk to can make all the difference.

Diabetes UK groups offer people living with diabetes a chance to meet and share experiences with others. They are all run by volunteers, and typically meet on a monthly basis.

Diabetes UK Advocacy Service provides advocacy to people with diabetes on issues in connection with their diabetes. We also help friends, family and carers acting on behalf of people with diabetes.

Diabetes in Schools.  We know there’s a lot to think about when a child with diabetes starts school, changes school or has a new teacher. It doesn’t matter if you’re a parent or a member of staff at school, we can support you to make sure a child with diabetes is getting the care they deserve and the same opportunities as other children.   Take a look at our parent information, school information and resources on our website.
