Childcare from 20th July

Due to the relaxing of restrictions by government, childcare settings can welcome back more children from 20th July, this also includes holiday playschemes and out of school clubs also being allowed to re-open whether on a school site or not.

Autism Resource Bases

Staffordshire County Council services

There are four Autism Resource bases in Staffordshire. These are based at three High schools:

  • Wolstanton High School, Newcastle
  • Wilnecote High School, Tamworth
  • Norton Canes High School, Cannock (2 resource bases)

Each school has 6 places for children and young people aged 11 – 16 years.

Admission procedures are managed by the Autism outreach team. Places are allocated based on pupil need.
