Come and have fun taking part in some great activities at the farm.  Activities include feeding and grooming our lovely animals, collecting eggs, creating pots of spring flowers and sowing cress heads plus a woodland wander and scavenger hunt.

Who?

5-15 year olds with special educational needs and disabilities from Staffordshire.  

A parent/carer must stay for the whole activity.  1 sibling per family may also attend.

Open to families living in South Staffs, Cannock Chase and Stafford areas.  

How many?

6 children and young people with special educational needs/disabilities and their families per session.  

Where?

Chase Aqua Rural Enterprise, Lower Drayton Farm, Penkridge, ST19 5RE. 

(Please park on the CARE car park and then meet in the classroom/polytunnel).

Anything else I need to know?

Please wear outdoor clothing and footwear including a waterproof coat if it is raining.  

Disabled toilets are available. 

Support with personal care is not available. 

Please speak to the provider in advance of the activity if your child has complex care needs to ensure that your child can be best supported.  

The Provider does not need to complete an assessment but will contact all attendees  ahead of the activities as a reminder.  

How much?

A voluntary contribution will be requested if this is an additional activity.

We kindly ask that bookings are made through our telephone booking line. 

We do however want to make sure that bookings for our activities are accessible to everyone and so if you are unable to contact our booking team via telephone please email sendreferrals@staffordshire.gov.uk and a member of the team will be in touch as soon as possible. 

If you can please include information on your child’s name, date of birth and the activity provider and date that you are interested in, it will help the team to deal with your enquiry.
