Horninglow Bungalows - A safe and supported home environment for adults with a learning disability or autism

Offering high quality care in a supported living environment for up to 16 adults with a Learning Disability and/ or Autism. We specialise in supporting adults who may also have a range of complex physical needs, health needs or behaviours that challenge.
Our Purpose
At Staffordshire County Council we know that moving on from living in residential care or with your family can be both exciting and daunting. We support people with a learning disability to live how they choose, with the ‘helping hands’ of staff available when needed, to support with things like personal care, managing domestic tasks, and being part of your community.
Our Approach
You can be reassured that you will receive quality care and support in a home environment and will be supported by friendly, knowledgeable and experienced staff.
The staff team are previous winners of 3 Staffordshire ‘Dignity in Care Awards’ for learning and creativity in the ways they supported tenants to utilise assistive technology to promote independence, and also in the ‘Community’ category, for supporting tenants to become active members of their community. One staff member also won an individual ‘Dignity in Care Award’ in recognition of her outstanding care, respect and dignity she provided during end of life care.
We are also able to support the assessment process for individuals who may be looking to move into single person accommodation in the future, by supporting the individual to learn new skills, such as domestic tasks, finances and budgeting and community presence.
The service is currently rated ‘Good’ in all areas with the Care Quality Commission.
