Support for your Wellbeing during the Covid-19 restrictions

As this is a worrying time, we are here to support you with any anxieties or difficulties you may be experiencing. We are offering telephone and video call appointments, which can be more frequent and convenient for you while at home.

What we do

We offer help for any type of emotional problem, or physical symptoms that can cause emotional distress. The most common symptoms we help are those of anxiety, low mood, and physical conditions that cause fatigue, pain or restrict people’s lives in some way.

This can include:

  • Depression and low mood
  • Anxiety and panic
  • Stress and worry
  • Phobias
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder 
  • Traumas
  • Long term health conditions and the emotional effects of living with and managing these.
  • Emotional and physical effects of COVID-19

Treatments we offer

We provide a range of effective therapies that are recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) for use in the NHS. Different therapies are recommended for different problems, and our therapists can explain and help to guide you in choosing these.  They include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Interpersonal Therapy
  • Physical Rehabilitation Programmes
  • Counselling
  • Couples Therapy
  • Guided Self Help
  • Practical Help

Who can use our service?

Anyone over 16 years of age who lives in Staffordshire or Stoke on Trent.

Are there any costs?

There are no costs.  It is available on the NHS.

How do I refer?

Getting help for your problems is easy. You don’t have to be referred by a doctor.  You can refer yourself by simply phoning us to make an appointment, or by completing the self-referral form.

Why not try one of our easy and convenient video calls, or telephone appointments, and find out what we can offer you.  There is no pressure on you to start a treatment programme . Many people simply have one appointment to get advice and self-help information.
