EM Tuition
EM Tuition work with Local Authorities and schools providing individual one to one alternative provision both face to face and online.
What we do
We deliver tuition to young people in their homes, schools, colleges, online and within community centres. We deliver primary and secondary education and cover all Key Stages including early years (4-19 years) and offer ASDAN, GCSE and Functional Skills Exam entry. Our tutors are highly professional, have vast experience with dealing with the most vulnerable pupils. All tutors have been fully vetted and have experience with pupils with barriers including Special Educational Needs (SEN).
We can provide part-time education (up to 15 hours a week) for young people displaying a wide range of complex barriers to education, including those who are excluded or at risk of exclusion and those with social, emotional and mental health needs.
SEND
We provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities - providing stability and progression using specialist tutors.
Excluded
We provide alternative provision for excluded pupils aged 4 to 18-years-old in order for them to progress and succeed in sustained education. We do this through providing high quality tutoring, based on building effective relationships that enable achievement of the skills needed for life.
Care
We support those pupils in care, providing one-to-one tuition whilst they wait for a school place - this could be short-term or long-term provision.
Therapy
On some occasions we can offer therapists including Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy (low availability)
National Tutoring Programme
We are a Departmet for Education approved provider for the National Tutoring Programme providing in school tutors for one to one and small group catch-up sessions (prices starting £38 per hour online, £43 face to face).
