Telecare and alarm service - Stoke-on-Trent City Council

You can buy the Lifeline alarm service from us to help you to stay safe at home.  You wear a pendant with an alert button, then if you need help (perhaps because you've fallen or feel unwell) you just press the button and we will be able to speak to you and send help at any time of the day or night.

Telecare is an addition to the Lifeline service for people with who have been assessed by us as having particular needs. We install some small sensors around your house and if you have problems these sensors will alert us using the Lifeline equipment.

Once you have had an assessment to show that you need assistance from Social Care, our Telecare experts will visit to talk with you and make recommendations on what Telecare sensors will best fit your eligible needs.

If you do not want a social care assessment you can pay for the sensors and services described above as part of the Lifeline community alarm service.

If you would like to purchase the Lifeline service, or if you would like any further information, please call or email us:
