Virtual CV Writing Interactive Programme for Employees

Supporting employees who may be losing their job or face the risk of redeployment

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) is significantly impacting employees and organisations resulted in some jobs that are at risk, to be redeployed or even lost.  People are now turning to creating or updating their CVs.  Unfortunately many of Generation X (born roughly from the early 1960s to late 1970s) have not had to create or update their CV as a result of being in the same jobs for years.  Employees are probably at the height of worrying how they are going to compete against the Generation Y (born between 1984 and 1996) and Generation Z (born after 1997) in applying for a job; alongside the mass number of people also going through the same dilemma.

Therefore, this interactive programme has been designed mainly for Generation X, but not limited to, in supporting and providing them with the tools to apply for jobs with confidence.

Key objectives:

Be an active support for employees to have someone review and provide feedback on their CV and cover letter.

Enable employees to have a CV and cover letter that they are confident in sending to prospective employers for a job they wish to apply for.

Details of how it is innovative:

The Virtual CV writing interactive programme is designed to be flexible and will be held at different times throughout the day and week to provide flexibility to work around those who have children, caring for elderly parent(s), key workers schedules, and even those who currently experiencing anxiety as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
