This information session aims to inform parents/carers of and professionals working with young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan about:
- the support available from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and other agencies to young people with SEND seeking work.
- Information will also be provided on benefits and appointeeships.
Objectives of the Session:
To give an awareness of the support the Jobcentre can provide to young people with SEND seeking work including:
- How to access support from the Jobcentre
- Jobcentre programmes to help young people with SEND into work
- Benefits including how to make a claim
- Appointeeships
