Cannock Wood & Gentleshaw Whist Club

The Cannock Wood Whist Club, formed in February 2008, meets twice each month - on the first Monday and on the third Tuesday - in the Village Hall to play the card game of Whist. Some think that this is a game that has gone out of fashion but the people of Cannock Wood and Gentleshaw think otherwise with the evenings increasing in popularity as word gets around the area.

The evening is suitable for all ages and all levels of player, be they beginners, improvers or experienced players.

Refreshments are served, there is a raffle and there are cash prizes to be won.

Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start and entrance is just £3.00 per player. There is plenty of parking available and there is no need to book - just turn up on the night.
