Shaw trust is a provider of day places for adults and young people with learning disabilities across the UK.

We are a successful horticulture based social enterprise located within the grounds of Walton hall academy Eccleshall on the A5013 Stafford Road. We are not part of the school we are a completely separate social enterprise run by Shaw Trust. We offer day service places for adults and young people, gaining meaningful work experience in a busy plant nursery producing approximately 40,000 plants per year. Our experienced team help support individuals to work towards their goals at their own pace

Service users will gain horticulture skills, as well as the softer skills such as team work, time keeping, following health & safety instructions and communication etc. The enterprise aims to create paid employment opportunities for service users through an internship route and supported employment programmes that we are currently creating.

We believe each person has the right to independence, inclusion and employment. If you are thinking about joining us why not give us a call and take advantage of our free taster days !
