Twoco - Support for women with employability, wellbeing, food and family essentials
We focus on marginalised Refugee and Black and ethnic minority women who are underrepresented in leadership, who are experiencing multiple disadvantages and exclusions in accessing services and employment.
We want to help these women realise their full potential, so we support them by offering range of holistic health and wellbeing programmes, provides servant leadership skills training workshops in order to improve their livelihoods and employability.
Some of these women are often experiencing financial hardship and social isolation as a result of the asylum process. Some have little or no statutory support, and some are even destitute.
We have a baby bank and food pantry to support pregnant asylum women and homeless asylum seekers, survivors of violence, widows and orphans.
