Aiming High - Stoke City - Ability Counts (Audley)
These sessions are intended for children who generally struggle to follow structure. We will have sensory stations, fun and games, different activities and areas where they can express themselves in a relaxed, enjoyable environment.
This is suitable for children who struggle to follow structure, are non-verbal or who would be classed as having a severe learning, social, mental or physical disability which may affect their focus or ability to take part in general sporting activity.

Parents/carers/siblings okay to attend and will be encouraged to join in. We will also attempt to create an area where parents can try to relax within sight of the session, so will be encouraged to stay.

Parents/carers will have to complete a participation form upon arrival.
Participants to bring their own medication or aides if required. We will always attempt to find out what needs are required for the participants and accommodate each participant to the best of our abilities.

No assessment beforehand. However, if we feel that the participant in question would benefit more from our other Aiming High sessions we will advise this.

We will look to have a snack time period, so we will encourage parents to bring their own food/drinks if they wish for their child to use this time during the session.
