Connecting Choices
We provide support for people with multiple barriers in:
- Stoke-on-Trent
- Newcastle-under-Lyme borough
- Staffordshire Moorlands district
We help you to:
- regain your confidence.
- become more socially included.
- move closer to or into the job market, training, education or other positive progression routes
Who can use the service?
People who are:
- Unemployed or economically inactive.
- Aged 19 or older (or young people who are aged 16–29 and who are not in education, employment or training and young people aged 15-18 who are not, or at risk of not being in education, employment or training).
- Legally a resident in the UK and able to take paid employment in EU member states.
Priority groups
- People with disabilities or long-term health conditions
- People who are 50+
- People from black and minority ethnic communities
- People with low skills or qualifications
- People who live in areas of high unemployment
- Carers
- Young people who are not in education or employment
- Residents of large social housing schemes
What happens when I come to the service?
You will have a personal coach to provide tailored support.
A progression plan will be created for each individual to help them to engage in training, education and complementary services provided by these organisations:
