Action for Children
We take action on behalf of 301,000 children, young people, parents and carers across the UK. Our mission is to do what’s right, do what’s needed, and do what works for children.
Any child who needs help gets help.
We’re straightforward, honest and analytical.
We partner, we collaborate and we share.
We value evidence and expertise.
We find strengths, we build on positives.
We don’t judge, we don’t belittle, we get on with it.
We think hard, then do, what’s right for children.
From before they are born until they are into their twenties, we help disadvantaged children across the UK

Staffordshire Community Support has been providing short break services throughout Staffordshire for almost 20 years enabling over 1000 young people to enjoy positive experiences away from home. Through developing effective relationships we have developed a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the issues parents/carers face and our mission is to work collaboratively to support children and young people accessing our services.
We are commissioned by Staffordshire County Council through the Aiming High programme to support young people with SEND needs living in Staffordshire.
