I have been registered since 1998, I have 2 boys 30 & 32 years of age and 2 grandsons who are 6 years old and 18 months old and a granddaughter who is 19 months old. I enjoy my job and I operate a very flexible working day.
It is very important that the children in my care are happy and always learning through play in a safe friendly environment, indoors and outdoors in our Forest School area.
I have been childminding for 25 years, I have looked after children from 6 weeks old (including premature babies).
I have seen children grow up into lovely teenagers/adults, who still pop and see me from time to time. Some have brought their children to me while they go to work. I also have experience in looking after three sets of twins.
I feel having children of your own is experience and as you grow older you have lots more patience with little ones, you understand their needs and have lots to offer them.
