South Staffs Water have a discount scheme on water bills.  The scheme is called Assure and offers a 2 year discount - 60% discount in year one and 40% discount in year two.

There is an income threshold for eligibility and all information can be found on their website. 

There is also a scheme called Assure Assist for customers with no household income (may be waiting for Universal Credit payment) in this case they may be eligible for a 100% discount in the first 8 weeks of the first year and then drop to 60% discount for the remainder of the year.

South Staffs Water also would like people to register on the Priority Services Register, should there be a water incident and they need to get alternative water supplies out.  This is a free service and information can be found on their website.
