We support thousands of people - including disabled people, people with a mental health issue and people with a learning disability - at home, at work or in the community to live the life they choose, however varied or complex that life may be.
We make a difference through a combination of our specialist knowledge, experience working in local areas, and by supporting our customers and their families to shape our services.
Respite and Short Term Care
We provide short-term and respite care on an ad-hoc or regular basis for people with disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and age-related needs. This allows carers to take a break, whilst being confident that the person they care for will be well looked after. People use our short-term and respite care service for many different reasons, for example to go on holiday, to take time to re-charge their batteries, or attend appointments.
Support in your home
Whether you need personal care, help preparing healthy meals, assistance with staying on top of bills, or emotional support, our trained Support Workers will support you to live as independently as possible. We will work with you to plan your support and help you achieve your goals. And as your needs and aspirations change, we will change the way we support you, so it is always delivered in the right way, at the right time.
Support in the community
Playing an active part in the community can improve your health and well-being, but we understand that sometimes it can be challenging or feel overwhelming. We will support you to access activities and opportunities within your community, and work with you to overcome any barriers that are preventing you from getting out and about. We also organise trips and holidays away, as well as creative groups in some areas, such as writing, drama, music, and art workshops.
