Believe in yourself
Learn how to improve your confidence and self-esteem.
- Exploring what healthy esteem is and low self-esteem.
- What triggers negative thought patterns and how they can affect us?
- How can negative self-esteem affect our behaviour?
- Exploring negative thinking and developing a healthy mind platter, including self-kindness and care into your daily routine.
- The use of positive grounding statements, relaxation, and home meditation to feel more positive.
- Releasing negative thoughts that can hold us back from living a full life.
Beating Anxiety
Learn how to manage your anxiety
- What is anxiety and why is it important that we understand it?
- How can we tell if our bodies are relaxed or stressed?
- Breathing and relaxation exercises.
- What is grounding and how can we use it?
Look after your emotional health
Learn how to look after your own emotional wellbeing.
- Identify your signs and triggers around worry and stress.
- How to build a strong emotional health plan.
- Help you promote your strengths and weaknesses.
- Help to identify and fill gaps around support.
Introduction to EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)
Learn a practical self-help method, involving tapping with the fingertips on meridian/acupressure points on the face and upper body.
- What EFT is, what it does and how it works
- How to check in with yourself and analyse how you feel
- Empowering tools for self-help that can be done from the comfort of your own home
- Ideas to help you move forward from anxiety and trauma
EFT can be used for a whole range of personal circumstances, from quitting a bad habit to dealing with anxiety or helping you to manage your anger... you learn the technique then use your imagination to apply it to your own life. Why not come along and see how it may benefit you?

We invite people with an interest in mental health and mental health services within the six districts of South Staffordshire to become members.

Act as an advocate for improvements in local services to reflect the needs and interests of local communities.
To actively increase general awareness of mental health, and to challenge stigma and discrimination of people experiencing mental illness.
