Aiming High - Staffordshire Wildlife - Nature Adventure (Westport Lake)

Tuesday 26th October (1-3pm)

A trek around our lovely Westport Lake setting with fun, engaging activities to do along the way.  Each family will be provided with a nature adventure pack with everything that you need inside for your adventure.

Meet us at the café entrance and we will give you your map and pack.  Then enjoy your family adventure together at your own pace, but please be sure to return all the equipment by 3pm at the same place that you collected it from.

Please arrive between 1pm and 1.30pm to collect your Nature Adventure Pack.

Who?

5-18 years old who have special educational needs and disabilities and their parent/carer.  
 
A parent/carer must be present for the duration of the activity.  

How many?

10 families per session.  

Where?

Westport Lake Visitor Centre, Longport, ST6 4RZ.  

How much?

Please speak to the provider if you would like to make a voluntary contribution.   

Anything else I need to know?  

We trek in all weathers, so please dress for the weather, bring sun cream, warm clothes (layers), drinks etc to enable you to have the most comfortable play experience. 

Please let us know of any specific support needs so that we can best support your family during the session.

Please note that latest government guidance relating to COVID-19 will be followed.  

We ask that you do not attend this event if you, or anyone in your household, are showing symptoms of COVID-19 or if you have been contacted by the Test and Trace system and advised to self isolate.

We kindly ask that bookings are made through our telephone booking line. 

We do however want to make sure that bookings for our activities are accessible to everyone and so if you are unable to contact our booking team via telephone please email sendreferrals@staffordshire.gov.uk and a member of the team will be in touch as soon as possible. 

If you can please include information on your child’s name, date of birth and the activity provider and date that you are interested in, it will help the team to deal with your enquiry.
