Stoke City provide a two-hour football and multisport session for children of all disabilities around Staffordshire, giving parents, guardians and carers support and respite.

The programme aims to work on technical skills but with a main focus on social and emotional skills in a creative, happy and embracing environment.

Who:

12 SEND children aged 6-16 years.

This session is mainly aimed at children who would otherwise struggle within a social or structured environment.

Parents/carers & siblings welcome and will be encouraged to join in.

Stoke City will create an area where parents/carers can try to relax within sight of the session.

Parents/carers will have to complete a participation form on arrival.

There will be a snack time period. It is advised that parents/carers bring their own food/drinks if they wish for their child to use this time during the session.

Stoke City cannot provide personal care or administer medications. However, they will always attempt to find out what needs are required for the participants and accommodate each participant to the best of their abilities.
