6 Week Summer Challenge
Monday 26 July – Friday 3 September
This summer we are ‘challenging’ all our under 5’s and their families to Get Involved in the Family Hub Summer Challenge. Each week we will have a new area to Get Involved in, click on the area for more information:
To help you Get Involved in this year’s Summer Challenge you can pick-up a booklet from your local Children’s Centre or allocated collection points you will find these on your local Family Hub Facebook page (please see links below) or you can download it HERE. Our Get Involved booklet will give you lots of ideas on what you and your child can do each week to help you complete the challenge, as well as information on how each area will support your child’s all round development plus some top tips.
Each week we will be sharing further ideas and information within the Children’s Centres and on our Family Hub Facebook pages and would love to see how you are all Getting Involved - so please share any comments or pictures with us on our Family Hubs Facebook pages. See links below for details of your local hub.
At the end of the 6 weeks we are offering certificates to all those who took part and the chance to enter our prize draw!!!! So, come on and let’s all Get Involved this summer!
How to claim your prize
Each week we will be awarding a Who Got Involved Winner to be entered into this you will just need to share a photo of your family’s activity for that week’s challenge onto your local Family Hub Facebook page and a winner will be picked.
At the end of the 6 Week Family Hub Summer Challenge everyone who took part will be awarded their Family Hub Summer Challenge certificate! To receive this all you will need to do is compete the challenge record sheet on page 3 of your Get Involved booklet and take it to your local Children’s Centre or local drop off point to collect your certificate! (see your Family Hub page for details of locations). Please check your Family Hub Facebook page for more information on how and when to do this. Please ensure your record sheets are handed in by Friday 10 September to be part of the prize draw.
We will be drawing a lucky winner from each district on Friday 17 September 2021. Winners names will be shared on the district’s Family Hub Facebook page and we will contact the winner direct to arrange collection of their prize!
