National Teaching and Advisory Service
We offer 1:1 teaching and education support in local identified venues or at home.
We are able to offer teaching from early years to post-16. Our teachers are selected for their ability to engage pupils in a vibrant and relevant curriculum specifically tailored to individual needs.
National Teaching and Advisory Service is a registered examination centre and can offer a range of accredited qualifications from AQA, OCR, ASDAN and Arts Award. We can cover core curriculum areas of English, maths and science as well as other course subjects on request.
Teaching is part-time and is flexible to meet the needs of the individual.
Who can use our service?
Children and young people with a range of needs who struggle to access education within a group setting. Children may have social, emotional or mental health needs, anxiety, school phobia, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, medical needs or any other significant barriers to successful school placement.

We offer bespoke packages of support, prices vary depending on need and number of hours required.
Children and young people who are struggling to maintain their school place.
Children and young people who have been permanently excluded from school.

What happens when I become an adult?
We are able to provide transition programmes to a range of college and Post 16 provision.
Support to identify and apply for college/apprenticeship placements is able to be offered, including formulating CVs. We have supported a number of young people in accessing university places.
