Telephone Befriending Service - Young at Heart
The Young at Heart Project is part of Father Hudson’s Care, a charity which works with community groups to develop projects and services that meet local needs.
The normal lunch clubs and activities are suspended at the moment so members are being supported through telephone befriending. If you are aged 55+ and being isolated and lonely is affecting your everyday life or know of someone who is isolated and could do with a friendly voice at the end of the other line please contact The Young at Heart Project.
Anyone who can spare 30 minutes to an hour a week to help reduce isolation and loneliness is asked to contact us. To become a telephone befriender or to use the befriending service, please call our Project Manager Mark Porter.
