Amity Hub - support for young people
Amity Hub offers support, guidance, work placements, training, education and volunteering opportunities plus a whole range of enrichment activities for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children who are making a new start in the UK aged 13 – 25 years of age. These young people are cared for by Staffordshire County Council.
Amity Hub’s values are based on community cohesion, integration and progression for young people, aiming to work closely with local business, charities, educational facilities and volunteers.
By teaching the young people we support the life skills needed, we hope to enable them to be more independent holistically. This in turn takes increasing pressures off other services and benefits them and the wider community.
