Lichfield Memory/Dementia Café

We are a domiciliary care agency who specializes in the care and support of people living with dementia; we work in the community with key support workers. The Memory cafe offers a place where people can come together in a supporting friendly environment, with others that are in similar circumstances. By talking and finding out how others deal with things, people can better manage their own situations.

The cafe is also supported by the Alzheimer’s society and the Community mental health team who visit on a bi-monthly basis. There is a private room, for members who want to discuss more complex matters.

The café is supported by 2 trained caregivers and volunteers and we have a bi-monthly news letter which lists activities.

The Memory Café is open Every Thursday 1030am 1230noon
