Aiming High - Caudwell Children - Purple Explorers Activity Club (Newcastle)
These sessions will allow children to meet other like-minded individuals with similar interests and experiences. They will also provide the opportunity to partake in ASDAN qualifications as a part of attendance at no additional cost. Each session is tailored to meet the needs of the individuals present and allows children to be themselves in a supportive and safe environment.
Who?
8-18 year olds with special educational needs and disabilities from Staffordshire.
Booking priority will be given to young people living in the North Staffordshire area.
We are however happy to welcome young people from other parts of Staffordshire if there are spaces.
How many?
20 young people per session.
Where?
Caudwell International Children's Centre, Keele Science Park, Newcastle, ST5 5NT.
Anything else I need to know?
Parents/carers are welcome to stay if their child needs support with personal care/medication.
Further details on the session will be shared by the Provider in advance.
The Provider will also call to discuss your childs support needs.
How much?
Please speak to the Provider directly in relation to voluntary contributions.

Available to children in North Staffordshire – other areas are welcome if there is space.
Parents/Carers are welcome to stay however this is not required, provided our initial assessment finds that we are able to meet the needs of the child/young person.
- Other notes
These sessions are great fun and allow children to be themselves. Children can make new friends, discover new hobbies and build new skills.
We advise that children bring a snack with them.
