The Get Started with Animal Care Course
The Get Started with Animal Care course is for anyone aged 16-30 who is not in education, work or training.
The Programme will run from the Rodbaston Campus.
Travel costs are covered so we can accept young people in a wider area of Staffordshire if the young person is happy to travel.
Throughout the week young people will:
Work in a fun environment, meet new people and learn new skills
Animal First Aid Certificate
Achieve an animal first aid certificate
Various Workshops
Complete various workshops to gain experience of animal handling/exotic/zoo animal health checks, husbandry tasks, horse and dog grooming.
Lunch and Travel
Lunch and travel expenses provided (free of charge).
Support
1:1 support throughout and for 3 months after completion of programme.
