Approach Day Care - Leek

Open Tuesday, Thursday 10.00am-3.00pm

Approach provides day care groups for older people with dementia or related health issue. The groups are designed to provide a structured and stimulated care to improve the health and well being of those in the local community. 

Members can participate in a wide range of activities such as singing, darts and skittles, as well as also being supported with any individual interests they may enjoy such as knitting, model making or reminiscence activities. 

Visits and trips out to places of interest are often arranged by the group officer. Recently we have had groups take trips out to farms, parks and lunch time restaurants.

Service is Free
Cost includes day care and a two course mid day meal. Day care places can be funded through social services direct payments, attendance allowance or self fund. Transport to and from the group can be provided at an additional cost.

Referrals can be made over the phone by calling our head office on 01782 214999 or emailing for a referral form. 

We will then contact you to arrange an assessment before starting at our group.
