Approach Day Care - Leek
Approach provides day care groups for older people with dementia or related health issue. The groups are designed to provide a structured and stimulated care to improve the health and well being of those in the local community.
Members can participate in a wide range of activities such as singing, darts and skittles, as well as also being supported with any individual interests they may enjoy such as knitting, model making or reminiscence activities.
Visits and trips out to places of interest are often arranged by the group officer. Recently we have had groups take trips out to farms, parks and lunch time restaurants.
