A membership organisation run by volunteers. A company limited by guarantee. Membership is available to all members of the community.
Self-sufficient with membership and attendance fees but occasionally applies for grant aid to help with specific projects.
Clubmarkholder including for those with a disability (paddle-ability). A management team that meets regularly made up of directors, elected officers and co-opted members.
Offers regular weekly sessions at evenings and weekends supplemented by courses, training, trips and tours.
Provides opportunities for a very wide variety of groups including schools, colleges, uniformed organisations, local companies et al.
