The Forest of Mercia actively uses the natural environment as a resource to educate, up-skill, improve health and wellbeing and inspire people living in Staffordshire and the West Midlands. Trees, woodland and forests are at the heart of our activity.
We want people to see the natural environment as a solution at a personal, social and economic level
Together, families can learn how to use the natural environment creatively. We provide people with the opportunity to socialise, learn about the outdoors and gain experience and understanding about the natural environment.
