Home Comfort Healthcare Ltd is a CQC registered provider of domiciliary care and related services(including personal care) to specific sectors of the community. The organisation is managed as a limited Company Reg 12067896. It was incorporated 25 June 2019. 

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANISATION

● It is the aim of Home Comfort Healthcare Ltd to deliver service of domiciliary care, personal care and associated domestic services to meet the needs of dependent clients in their own homes. This will be achieved by promoting a standard of excellence which embraces fundamental principles of good care and care practice that is witnessed and evaluated through the practice, conduct and control of quality care in the domestic environment. To meet the service user needs the Care Service is designed to achieve the following objectives.

● To deliver a service of the highest quality that will improve and sustain the service users’ overall quality of life. In this respect the care service will work within the guidance and common induction standards as detailed in the overriding legislation framework of HSCA 2014 and amendments.

● To ensure that client information and any sensitive information is handled in a way that protects privacy and is consistent GDPR national standards and associated outcomes.


● To ensure that the organisation is managed in a transparent and accessible open fashion that is consistent with sound good governance policies.


● To ensure the service is delivered flexibly, attentively and in a non- discriminatory fashion while respecting each service user’s right to independence, privacy, dignity, fulfilment and rights to make informed choices and take risks.


● To ensure each service user’s needs and values are respected in matters of religion, culture, race or ethnic origin, sexuality, sexual orientation, political affiliation, marital status, parenthood and disabilities or impairments.


● To ensure the care service as a whole is delivered in accordance with agreed Purchasing contracts / Care agreements.


● To manage and implement a formal programme of staff planning, selection, recruitment, training and personal development to enable the service user care needs to be met.

● To match the nominated Care Worker as closely as possible with the service user and respecting the need to change the care worker in the event of subsequent non-compatibility.

● To manage the Care Service efficiently and effectively to make the best use of resources and to maximise value for money for the Purchaser of the Service.

● To undertake risk assessment of environmental health and safety hazards within the home of each new service user and to ensure areas of concern are duly reported to the purchaser of the service. Such Risk assessments will take into account the right of the service user to take risks as indicated above. Each new service user will also have a client specific risk assessment that is tailored around their individual risk areas with the appropriate risk reduction and management actions implemented to reflect.

● To ensure that all service users receive written information on the Organisation’s procedure for handling complaints, comments and
compliments and how to use it.


● To ensure that the organisation operates with a responsible community-based ethos that focuses on social values that are designed to contribute positively to the local community and responsive of environmental obligations.


● To keep abreast with changes in legislation and incorporate said changes into policy documents that map training protocols and practice guidelines to reflect responsiveness and Organisational adaptability. This is particularly relevant given the onset of the Covid – 19 pandemic and the fluid situation associated to relevant infection control practices effected by the national legislature.

● The organisation is geared to looking after people of age range: 18 to 65+ who require a straightforward service of care, personal and domestic care. These will be in their own home, with straight forward domiciliary care needs, with a presenting learning disability, mental health needs, physical disabilities, sensory impairment, dementia or a combination or other related conditions.

All care contracts will be subject to rigorous compatibility testing and where incompatibility is highlighted either owing to age differences, risk taking behaviours or other mitigating factors, other care alternatives\arrangements will be explored before turning down a referral.


 Our very referral procurement strategy is directed by the specifics of the needs of the service user; hence we can definitively say, “We are a service user led provision”. This makes us unique in our service delivery because we embody the very principles of contemporary service provision, in a tangible and pragmatic way, as opposed to just echoing the appropriate sound bites for commissioners, and regulatory authorities.

● The organisation does not offer nursing care but will source out nursing input where appropriate to better meet the needs of the service users.

The organisation offers its services to service users’, irrespective of their race or ethnic origin, creed, colour, religion, political affiliation, marital status, parenthood, sexual gender, sexual orientation, and disabilities or impairments.


The sole criterion for accepting a service user is the perceived ability of the organisation to meet the service user’s needs as per assessment.
