LEGO based Therapeutic Coaching Approaches Course
Think Bricks Education ‘Think Bricks’ is all about building resilience, brick by brick. ‘Think Bricks’ empowers and inspires children to creatively build symbolic models to help them communicate and understand their thoughts, feelings, worries, aspirations, self – regulation, set goals and much more!
This workshop will demonstrate to delegates how to coach and support children using LEGO© as a therapeutic tool, putting the psychology into LEGO© bricks! Delegates will learn coaching techniques, be inspired to learn with and from others, and experience the magic of the box of specially selected LEGO© metaphors that enable an enhanced conversation to convey their personal feelings in a powerful and expressive manner. Delegates will learn to facilitate intervention on a one to one or in small groups. Coach children to explore and find solutions to their personal issues, enabling them to open up and talk about themselves, and their situations, through symbolic model making.
All resources needed to facilitate the intervention will be included to take away on the day. A Think Bricks suit case of LEGO© bricks and activity cards.
