The government are seeking views on their green paper about the changes they want to make to the special educational needs and disabilities and alternative provision system in England.

How do I find out more?

• On Tuesday 17 May, Will Quince, the Parliamentary under-Secretary of State for Children and Families, was live on Mumsnet to answer questions on the SEND and alternative provision green paper. The questions and answers are now available on the Mumsnet website, with the option to post further reflections over the next 2 weeks.
  
  
• Working together with sector-led organisations the department is running some face-to-face and virtual workshops and events to give everyone the opportunity to hear more about the proposals and ask questions. For further information about these events visit the SEND Review website. Please note that May's workshops are fully booked. They will update this page with more information about further sessions as they become available to book.
  
  
• Resources to help you understand the proposals are available on the GOV.UK website, and includes:
• a British Sign Language (BSL) version of the green paper;
• an easy-read version of the green paper summary; and
• a guide to help children and young people with SEND or those in alternative provision

How can I feedback?
