We know how important a home is. It is important for people to feel safe and cared for when they can't live independently anymore.             

Our Approach

We offer a person-centred approach ensuring agreed outcomes are met and residents have opportunities to be part of their community. We work closely with Social workers to ensure our assessments and outcomes are appropriate to the person’s needs. The home liaises with all health professionals to ensure a person’s health is maintained, referrals will be completed for any areas of support or concern, we have two GP practices within the area who are excellent with our resident.  Annual health checks are undertaken, and health action plans are completed to co-ordinate. When required we can access support from various health professionals such as Consultant Psychiatrist, Epilepsy Nurses, Neurology, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language therapists, Dentist, Dietician, Chiropodist.

Staff are key to delivering high quality care, and we have a dedicated team at Greenfield House who ensure residents live in a safe, homely and clean environment. All staff are DBS checked and receive comprehensive training.

The home ensures contact with loved ones are maintained this can be via the telephone, family visits, involving relatives as much as they would like to be involved.  We have regular meetings where we can get together to inform you of any changes that may be happening, you can meet with other carers and the cakes aren’t bad either!           

What We Offer

Greenfield House is a residential home for 10 adults with a learning disability set in the Staffordshire Moorlands. The home is situated in the picturesque market town of Leek commonly known as queen of the Moorlands. Greenfield House is set in a quiet location within walking distance to local amenities. The home is single story and can accommodate residents with a physical disability. Each resident has been supported to personalise their bedroom to a décor of their choosing. There are two communal lounge rooms, dining area, sensory room, specialist bathing area and wet room. We also have accommodation for 2 adults within a self-contained flat that has bedrooms with ensuite, kitchen, lounge and a lovely conservatory.

The home has extensive grounds for the residents to enjoy. We offer a range of activities, including trampolining, splash landings, visits to loved ones, walking, hairdressers, and anything else our residents request. We provide transport to residents to enable them to access their community. Our cooks provide a healthy balanced diet, which can be maintained with the support of a dietician where needed.

Greenfield House is rated ‘good' in all areas with the Care Quality Commission.
