What we do

We are a specialist team and have experience and expertise in assessment and treatment of young people over the age of 14 years with possible psychotic symptoms.

For individuals who meet our criteria we provide a detailed assessment with advice on diagnosis and management. Team members have specialist training in assessment and treatment of psychosis and are able to provide interventions such as cognitive therapy, family work medicines management or specialist support or activity groups.

Who can use our Service?

Young people aged 14-35 years who live in North Staffordshire, the Staffordshire Moorlands and Stoke on Trent.

Who will we see?

The team consists of a number of professional staff including mental health nurses, support, time and recovery workers, clinical psychologists, a social worker and an occupational therapist.

How do I refer?

Referrals will be accepted from the young person or their family, professionals and other agencies.
