These sessions will allow children to meet other like-minded individuals with similar interests and experiences, helping them to build confidence and make new friendships. 

Each session is tailored to meet the needs of the individuals present and allows children to be themselves in a supportive and safe environment.

These sessions are great fun and allow children to be themselves. Children can make new friends, discover new hobbies and build new skills.

Who:

15 SEND children aged 8 - 18 years.

Priority for children who live in Newcastle & Staffordshire Moorlands. Children from other districts may be welcome too if there is space.

Parents/Carers may be asked to stay if it is deemed necessary.

Otherwise, parents/carers are welcome to stay or leave at their own discretion.

Notes

Caudwell Children will always try to be inclusive and meet the needs of children who apply to be a part of the sessions. The support required will be decided via an assessment of needs conducted by a staff member from Caudwell Children. A carer may be required to support a young person if deemed necessary.

Initial Assessments will be required before the session. This will be done via a phone call from Caudwell Children on the week of attendance.

There is no support available for medication or personal care. If this is required, it must be done by parents/carers.
